PennDOT Regional EV Infrastructure Funding Round Closes 8/21; More to Open Soon 

PennDOT’s southeast funding round for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Community Charging Funding Opportunities will close August 21. The funding opportunity will award $34 million to EV charging station projects in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.  

Applications are currently being accepted for a $25 million funding opportunity in the western region, with the application deadline of November 20, 2026. Grant rounds for the central and eastern portions of Pennsylvania are expected to open in September. Eligible projects include various costs for installing a new public charging station or upgrading an existing one. Interested townships may complete the NEVI Interested Organizations Survey. Responses to this survey are shared publicly on PennDOT’s website. Questions can be directed to RA-PDEVCORRIDORS@pa.gov
