Funding to Make Shovel-Ready Sites Now Available
DCED is now accepting applications for the new Business in Our Sites (BOS) grant and loan program to attract businesses by helping them build an inventory of ready sites. Townships are eligible to apply through June 30, 2026, for site development activities required to make a site shovel-ready, including but not limited to:
- Acquisition of land and buildings, rights of way, and easements.
- Construction or rehabilitation of stormwater drainage systems, energy facilities, sanitary sewer systems, water supply facilities, transportation facilities affecting the proposed development site, and telecom facilities.
- Demolition of structures and removal of abandoned foundations.
- Environmental site assessment and remediation.
- Related engineering, design, and inspection costs.
- Signage, landscaping, and street lighting.
