Rural Emergency Medical Services Training Grants 

The U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is accepting applications for funding for the FY26 Rural Emergency Medical Services Training Grants to recruit and train EMS personnel to provide immediate emergency care and rapid hospital transport in rural communities. The program enhances EMS personnel training to better serve individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Townships that operate EMS agencies and nonprofit EMS organizations are eligible to apply through July 16, 2026. For more information, visit the program page.
