The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) is accepting nominations for the 2026 Pennsylvania Historical Marker Program. This program helps identify and elevate stories that shaped local history and the nation. Townships are eligible to apply and must first submit a pre-application by April 1, 2026, allowing PHMC staff to provide guidance on historical significance, documentation, and eligibility.
