Funding rounds for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Community Charging Funding Opportunities in the following areas remain open: 

• $25 million is available for the western region and closes November 20, 2026. 

• $11 million is available for the central region and closes March 12, 2027. 

• $32 million is available for the eastern region and closes March 12, 2027. 

Eligible projects include the installation of a new public charging station or upgrading an existing public charging station. Interested townships may complete the NEVI Interested Organizations Survey. Responses to this survey are shared publicly on PennDOT’s website at pa.gov/evcommunity via the “NEVI Interested Organizations Directory” link.
