The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program has been reopened with an extended timeframe to apply! Townships are eligible and highly encouraged to apply for funding towards cybersecurity assessments. These assessments can help identify your township’s ability to protect its data and computer infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements. Applications are open now through November 18, 2026. 

Please note, this program does not require a finalized budget, vendor selection, or quote to apply! Additionally, funding may cover eligible expense reimbursements between September 1, 2025, and August 29, 2029. The state is particularly interested in ensuring municipalities take advantage of this program, so don’t miss out! Visit the program page for more information.
