The Department of Community and Economic Development is now accepting applications for Local Share Account Grants. Townships, municipal authorities, and councils of government are eligible to apply through November 30, 2026, for project costs between $25,000 and $1,000,000. This program requires no match! Future Local Share Grant allocations will be reduced, as this was the chosen revenue source for retiree pension cost-of-living adjustments. 

Grant funds may be used toward projects that improve the quality of life in the community, including infrastructure projects, purchasing vehicles, machinery, or equipment, planning projects, construction, and more.
