U.S. Department of Agriculture announced up to $310 million is available under the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). Proposals are being accepted through August 24, 2026, for projects between $250,000 and $10 million. Funding will be allocated between two funding pools: 

• Critical Conservation Area (CCA) Funding Pool: projects must address at least one CCA priority resource concern, including water quality and wildlife habitats in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, the Great Lakes Region, and Northeast Forests and Waters. 

• The State and Multi-State Funding Pool: proposals in the state and multi-state category must be carried out either within a single state or in multiple states. 

Townships, municipal water or wastewater entities, conservation districts, and similar entities are eligible to apply. Eligible activities include land management and restoration, public works and watershed projects. For more information, view the Notice of Funding Opportunity.
