Townships Among Recipients for CFA Awards 

Yesterday, the Commonwealth Financing Authority announced approvals for 130 Act 13 projects in 40 counties, worth $18.2 million. Many townships are among the recipients. Awards were made in the following categories: 

• Flooding mitigation: 10 projects for $2.4 million 
• Greenways, Trails, and Recreation: 94 projects approved for $12.22 million
• Sewage Facilities: four projects for $73,830 
• Watershed Restoration: 21 projects for $2.4 million.
