Reminder: Comments on Road and Bridge Projects Due Wednesday 

Township officials are encouraged to look at planned state and local road and bridge projects to determine if any will impact your township. Comments and concerns on these projects are due Wednesday, July 3. The draft 2025 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, known as the STIP, contains a list of prioritized state and municipal projects that will receive federal, state, local, and private funding over a four-year period. The plan may include projects that your township has been working to fund.  


To look for projects in affecting your township, including traffic signals, intersection improvements, and state road and bridge projects, click here. The fastest way to browse projects is to look in the blue box and scroll down to the Pennsylvania map. Click on your county for a quick list of projects. Scroll through the list and click on any project of interest to learn more. Note the Project ID number and use the Comment Form in the blue box or email comments to or call to submit comments to 717-783-2262.
