Applications for WalkWorks’ ninth round of Transportation Planning Grants are due March 21, 2025. These grants from the PA Department of Health may be used to develop Active Transportation Plans. Grants and technical assistance are available to develop active transportation plans. Townships are eligible to apply.  

Active transportation includes walking, biking, using a wheelchair, and accessing public transit. Plans may be a component of a comprehensive plan as required by the Municipalities Planning Code or a stand-alone document.
