Ready, Set, Go! Petition Process Starts for State Legislative Candidates 

The Pa. Department of State begins accepting petitions from candidates for state representative and state senator today. Candidates only have until March 28 to file petitions for the May 17 primary election, less than half of the traditional 21 days to collect signatures to qualify to be on the ballot. Candidates will run for new legislative districts that were upheld by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Wednesday. Click here to view the final maps.
