The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency announced over $8 million in federal Byrne Justice Assistance Grants (JAG) for innovative approaches addressing persistent and emerging public safety needs, as well as toward strengthening public safety data infrastructure and expanding PCCD’s research and analytic capacity to improve decision-making, transparency, and accountability. 

Townships are eligible to apply through July 14, 2026.  PCCD expects to fund approximately 30 to 35 grants with budgets not to exceed $250,000 over the two-year project period.
