Gov. Tom Wolf has announced that 50 municipalities, including many townships, will receive more than $15.6 million to support traffic signal upgrades and improve traffic safety through the state Department of Transportation’s Green Light-Go program. These grants are used to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals. In addition, previously awarded projects that were halted last year due to state funding issues will be restarted. For a list of the new grantees, click here.
