This online platform lets township officials securely and anonymously compare their employees’ wages and benefits with those of similar townships with easy-to-use filters. 2023 results are now available thanks to the hundreds of townships that have participated to date. Reminder: DEP Electrical Vehicle Education Program Available for Local Officials
The state Department of Environmental Protection’s Energy Programs Office has a Municipal Electric Vehicle Education program providing free education sessions to any interested municipality. Scheduled virtual sessions will cover different types and availability of EVs, different types and development considerations for EV charging infrastructure, and incentives for EV deployment. The sessions will be held on the following dates:
- September 20 | 2-4 p.m. | Registration
- October 12 | 10 a.m.-noon | Registration
