Waymo is reportedly testing its autonomous driving mode on Pittsburgh roads, with a technician behind the wheel. The company is owned by Alphabet (Google) and offers fully autonomous and driverless taxi service in 15 U.S. cities, including Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Denver.  

According to PennDOT’s website, Waymo also has certificates to test its autonomous mode with a driver in Philadelphia and Tinicum Township as well. Waymo’s website indicates it is coming soon to both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
