The Commonwealth Drought Task Force recently moved three counties from drought watch to normal status: Blair, Montgomery, and Philadelphia. While some areas of Pennsylvania have seen strong improvement, significant recovery is still needed in many regions, which is why watch and warning declarations remain in many counties. 

Drought warnings remain in place in the following eight counties due to persistently dry conditions: Berks, Chester, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, and Lehigh.  

Drought watches remain in place in the following counties: Adams, Bedford, Bucks, Dauphin, Delaware, Northampton, Perry, and York. The remaining 51 counties are in normal status. Click here to learn more, including lists of public water suppliers under conservation orders.
