PSATS Flagger Training Certification

The PSATS Flagger Training Certification Course prepares participants to safely control traffic in work zones and meet Pennsylvania training requirements. 

Who Needs Flagger Training? 

Pennsylvania requires individuals performing flagging duties on roadways open to public traffic to complete approved training every three years. 

This training is especially valuable for: 

  • Roadmasters 
  • Road crews
  • Street superintendents
  • Safety coordinators
  • Engineers
  • Law enforcement personnel
  • Municipal managers

Certification Information 

  • Certification examination administered at the end of class 
  • Immediate certification upon successful completion
  • Personalized wallet card issued on-site
  • Certification valid for three years
