Gov. Shaprio announced the recipients of $39 million for 11 projects in a new round of the PA Sites (Pennsylvania Strategic Investments to Enhance Sites) program to build shovel-ready industrial sites across the commonwealth. Some grants will develop new sites, while others will redevelop existing industrial sites. In Buckingham Township, Bucks County, a $150,000 grant will explore the feasibility of developing a new laboratory and office across from the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center. In Vernon Township, Crawford County, a $8.5 million grant would demolish a 120,000 square foot building that has been vacant since 1986 and remediate the site. Click here to learn more about the winning projects.
