Township Years of Service Award

PSATS launched the Years of Service Awards to promote interest in good township governance and recognize faithful and effective service by elected and appointed township officials. The awards are given to township officials who have hit the service milestones of 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, or 60 years for one or more townships. Recipients must serve a township that is a member in good standing with PSATS at the time of the award.

Applicants must serve in the position of supervisor or council member, manager, secretary, treasurer, or a combination of these positions. Official leaves of absence or military service during time of war may be counted as time served, provided the official held the township position prior to call of duty.

Each applicant must register with PSATS by January 31, 2027, by filling out the online form at www.psats.org/township-years-of-service-award-form/, showing the date township service began, positions held, and exact dates for each position. Applicants should make sure to accurately document any time out of service.
