The State Association is proud to announce that it has won two Awards of Excellence in the 37th Annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence from Communications Concepts. The Pennsylvania Township News and the Morning News received the honors. This year’s awards are a product of a team effort, with many staff contributing. The Township News staff includes Managing Editor Brenda Wilt, Assistant Editor Chris Brady, and Associate Editor Hanna Martin. Morning News project leaders include Policy and Research Director Holly Fishel, Conference Coordinator Casey Eisenhart, and Chief Editor Brenda Wilt.
The APEX Awards is an annual competition for corporate and nonprofit publishers, editors, writers, and designers who create print, web, electronic, and social media. PSATS and its publications have received multiple APEX Awards over the past 23 years, including an Award of Excellence for the Township News in 2024.
When elected or appointed, township officials automatically become PSATS members through their township's membership. If you're an elected or appointed township official in Pennsylvania and are unsure about your entity’s membership status with PSATS, your board secretary or manager can provide the necessary details.
PSATS offers its members exclusive access to training, resources, and events via the member portal at PSATS.org. If you have any questions about PSATS.org or your membership that aren't covered on our FAQ page, please submit a message, and we'll be happy to follow up with you.
