Commonwealth Releases June, Fiscal Year End Revenues
The Independent Fiscal Office (IFO) and state Department of Revenue have released June 2025 Fiscal Year End revenue reports for the Commonwealth. The state collected $3.74 billion in June, the final month of the commonwealth’s fiscal year. Collections were 2.2% higher than anticipated by the IFO for the month and 3% higher than June 2024. 2024 Fiscal Year Revenues totaled $46.41 billion, 1.4% above the IFO estimate. Note higher than expected revenues for the year yielded $46.41 billion, but the Governor wants to spend over $51 Billion in a new budget….maybe that is why there isn’t a budget yet? Townships know not to spend more than they take in.
The Motor License Fund received $269.1 million in June, $4.7 million below estimates. Fiscal year-to-date revenues for the year are 3.6% above estimates. The fund includes liquid fuels taxes and other license, fine, and fee revenues. Click here for the IFO report and here for Revenue’s report.
