Fire departments interested in applying for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grant (SAFER) should take advantage of a series of webinars being held this week and next week to help you develop your application and apply. This program provides funding directly to fire departments and volunteer firefighter organizations to help them increase or maintain the number of trained firefighters available in their communities. Applications are due February 4, 2022.
