Lead by Example Through PSATS’s Award Programs
Is your township doing great things that could serve as a model for other municipalities? Share best practices and practical experience by applying for one of PSATS’s award programs! Your winning project might just spark an idea for a new project, service, or program in another township. The deadline for the PSATS’s four award programs is December 31:– President’s Leadership Awards recognize one outstanding supervisor and one manager or secretary.  |
| – Citizen Communication Awards recognize the work townships do to communicate with residents. Two townships are awarded the Outstanding Citizen Communication Award.- Youth Awards celebrate youth groups that work with townships to complete projects. – Excellence in Intergovernmental Cooperation Awards recognize municipalities that partner to complete projects and provide services. Presented in conjunction with PennDOT, townships are also encouraged to apply for the Road and Bridge Safety Improvement Awards, which are due Friday, March 6. Award winners will be recognized at the 2026 Annual Conference Excellence Awards ceremony. Applicants can submit their entries online or through the mail.
