PSATS is hosting a webinar today on “Websites 101: ADA Compliance and Upcoming Due Dates for Municipalities” from 12-1. Pete Socks will provide an overview of the Department of Justice’s April 2024 rule that is intended to ensure that websites, including those maintained by local governments, are accessible to people with disabilities and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. He will discuss the technical requirements for local government websites and apps and how to make sure you come into compliance before your deadline (4/24/26 for local governments with populations of 50,000 or more and 4/24/27 for those with less than 50,000).
