Does Your Township Have a Historic Barn in Need of Repair?  

The Historic Barn and Farm Foundation of Pennsylvania (HBFF) has funding available for a matching grant program to encourage maintenance and repair of historic barns and outbuildings throughout Pennsylvania. Barn owners who are Pennsylvania residents and current HBFF members are eligible to apply by December 1, 2022 (please note that this deadline was extended from November 1, although the original date is still listed on application materials).  

Matching grant awards of up to $2,500 will be distributed as a reimbursement after project completion. Eligible buildings must be at least 50 years old, have originally served an agricultural use, and retain a significant degree of historic character and materials.
