DEP Announces Results of PFAS Sampling

The state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has provided results from recent public water system sampling for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Of the identified systems, 65% did not have detectable levels of PFAS. Of those with detectable PFAS, seven varieties were detected and all were below the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s health advisory level of 70 parts per trillion. Click here for more.
