We are only nine months away from the 250th birthday of the United States on July 4, 2026! Pennsylvania’s townships are vital to celebrating the semiquincentennial. From historic sites to local heroes, each community holds a piece of our shared story. What is your township doing to celebrate? Townships are encouraged to adopt a resolution highlighting local history by exploring their Revolutionary roots and beyond. Connect with local historical societies, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Sons of the American Revolution chapters, and consider creating or joining an event to mark this momentous anniversary!
