The Build America Bureau is now accepting applications for up to $20 million in no-match grants for the Regional Infrastructure Accelerators Program (RIA) for technical resources, planning, and project development to expedite regional transportation infrastructure. Townships and other public entities are eligible to apply through June 16, 2025. 

Eligible projects include project planning; studies and analysis; revenue forecasting; preliminary engineering and design work; and statutory and regulatory compliance analyses. The Bureau will consider regional designation as broadly defined including those which serve a region of rural communities or any proposal that serves multiple jurisdictions with shared priorities and interest, such as a river basin, transportation corridor.
