The state Department of Transportation is accepting applications for a new round of Multimodal Transportation Fund grants. Townships and COGs are eligible to apply through February 13, 2026. Please note that PennDOT’s multimodal program is separate from the Multimodal Transportation Fund administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority. 

Eligible projects include coordinating local land use with transportation assets; streetscape, lighting, sidewalks, and pedestrian safety projects; improvements to connectivity or use of existing transportation systems; or projects related to transit-oriented development.
