PSATS publishes an Organization Meeting Checklist to help you prepare for today’s annual organization meeting of the board of supervisors. This checklist can help you make sure that all required and recommended items are completed. 

Keep in mind that newly elected or reelected supervisors must take an oath of office prior to the organizational meeting, which must be administered by a judge, district magistrate, or notary. If your township holds a swearing-in ceremony to administer the oath, the oath does not need to be taken in advance. Townships can view a copy of the oath of office by clicking here.
