New Glamping Sites Coming to Eight State Parks in 2026 if Budget in Place

The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced this week that beginning in spring 2026, new glamping accommodations will be offered in eight state parks. Glamping is short for “glamorous camping,” and sites include beds and electricity. Timberline Glamping Company will provide the accommodations in Codorus, French Creek, Hickory Run, Hills Creek, Laurel Hill, Poe Valley, Promised Land, and Pymatuning State Parks.

When a state budget is adopted, the new initiative is intended to support DCNR’s “Still Open. Still Awesome” initiative, emphasizing free and affordable outdoor recreation opportunities in Pennsylvania for both residents and non-residents. Click here to learn more.
