Mypath Account Clarification, Quick Links
The state Department of Revenue is retiring its e-TIDES system on February 24 and moving its services to the new online portal myPATH. The myPATH site is now live for employers and business users, who should begin creating user accounts in myPATH.
While township officials should begin to migrate their e-TIDES information to the new system now, keep in mind that some functionality will remain available in eTIDES for the next few weeks. According to Revenue’s website, you will still be able to submit W-3 Employer Returns and W-3/501 Employer payments through eTIDES until February 24.
Here are a few reminders and clarifications:
- Create a user account to access the township’s account, which will be migrated over after the user account is created. Click here for detailed instructions to set up a myPATH user account.
- When creating a user account, a form of ID will be needed. There are four options, including the township’s FEIN. Click here to determine the best form of ID for you.
- There is a lot of information available about myPATH on revenue.pa.gov. The Business Taxes section contains a lot of helpful information as do the Frequently Asked Questions.
