Federal Funds Available for Rural Transportation Projects, No Match Required
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau is accepting applications for the Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program. A total of $54.2 million in funding is available to help advance infrastructure projects in rural communities. Townships are eligible to apply through October 8, 2025, and no match is required!
Grants may be used to hire staff or advisers to help with pre-development activities on transportation projects, including feasibility studies, project planning, preliminary engineering and design, environmental review, economic assessments, public benefits studies, and more.
