Christmas Arrives Early! (Or Late for 2024)  CFA Awards 2024 Local Share Grants

After several delays, the Commonwealth Finance Authority has finally approved the 2024 Local Share Account Grant awards. Township officials can click here for the list, which begins on page 3 of the document and is listed in alphabetical order by applicant. 1,186 total awards are listed, for more than $268 million. More than 360 townships received grants from this round, and many municipal authorities serving townships also received awards. Lebanon County LSA Awards were also made and are listed on the last page. 

Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County received $650,000 for an ambulance. Forest Lake Township, Susquehanna County received $56,000 for improvements to the township’s ballfield. Gilpin Township, Armstrong County received $50,000 for the South Central Armstrong Regional Comprehensive Plan. Hayfield Township, Crawford County will receive $100,000 for a township building roof replacement. Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County received $200,000 for traffic signal upgrades. Congratulations to all the townships that were able to fund a purchase or project with this round of LSA grants!
