ATV/Snowmobile Grants Awarded, Current Funding Round Open

$2.1 million has been awarded from the All-Terrain Vehicle/Snowmobile Grants to expand and improve trails and facilities across Pennsylvania. Nine projects were awarded funding, including the following projects benefiting townships: 

  • Lannding, LLC (Indiana County) received funding for construction of an ATV training course, parking area, utilities, and stormwater management measures at the Lannding ATV Park in Pine Township. 
  • Indian Creek Valley ATV Club (Fayette County) was awarded funds for equipment to construct and maintain approximately 43 miles of ATV trails in Saltlick Township. 

As a reminder, DCNR is currently accepting applications for the ATV and Snowmobile Program fall grant round for projects proposing land acquisition, planning, development, rehabilitation, maintenance, equipment purchases, or educational programs for ATV or snowmobile trails and facilities. Townships can apply through September 30, 2025.
