The Pa. Fish and Boat Commission is now accepting applications the Boating Facility Grant (BFG) program for public boating facilities located on commonwealth waters. Townships can apply through December 1, 2025. Funding requests require a 50% match and, new this year, all interested applicants must schedule a site visit as part of the application process before a project will be considered for funding. 

Grants can be used for planning, site acquisition, development, expansion, prevention of the spread of aquatic invasive species, and rehabilitation of recreational boat access facilities.  Eligible construction projects may include boat ramps, courtesy docks, restrooms, access roads, parking areas, and signs.
