Pennsylvania Treasury’s Transparency Portal Shows Budget Stopgap Expenses

Township officials curious about how much the Commonwealth is spending to keep the doors open during the budget impasse can view stopgap expenses on Pennsylvania Treasury’s recently updated website. Developed to provide transparency about state expenditures, visitors can view an updated dashboard, information about federal funds, and ledger updates, including unappropriated stopgap expenses accruing during the budget impasse. The portal now includes Local Resources, which shows local government financial data from the state Department of Community and Economic Development’s Municipal Statistic Office.
