250th Anniversary Historic Preservation Grants Now Available
The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) announced the availability of $2 million under the Keystone Historic Preservation Grant Program to help communities preserve historic places, strengthen revitalization efforts, and prepare for the nation’s 250th anniversary this year. PHMC will award grants ranging from $5,000 to $100,000 in two grant categories:
- Construction grants for the rehabilitation, preservation, and restoration of publicly accessible historic resources owned by local governments. PHMC will host a Construction Grant webinar on Wednesday, January 21, at 3:00 PM. Register here.
- Planning grants for community-based historic preservation planning and project-specific planning initiatives, including municipal planning efforts focused on historic resources. PHMC will host a Planning Grant webinar on Thursday, January 22, at 3:00 PM. Register here.
