PSATS COURSE Policies
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come,
first-served basis. Please try to register at least two weeks
prior to the workshop. Because materials is
shipped to the seminar site before the session, we cannot guarantee
your name will appear on the registration list if you register
within three days of the session. Walk-ins are accepted on a space-available
basis.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Walk-ins are accepted on a space-available basis. Please note that there are times when a session is cancelled or rescheduled. Registered attendees will be notified of any schedule changes prior to the session. Substitutions are permitted without notice.
Cancellations received less than ten working
days before the workshop are subject to a penalty of $15. Those
workshops with registration fees over $35 are subject to a larger
penalty. Cancellations received within 48 hours of the seminar forfeit the full registration fee.
All training will be held at ADA-accessible
locations. Please use the accessibility needs line on the registration
form to indicate alternate format, sign language requirements,
or any other needs you might have.
Shippensburg University's Frehn Center
for Professional Organization Development provides local government
education through the Institute for Municipal Secretaries, Clerks
and Administrators.
The Institute program is designed to help municipal
secretaries, clerks and administrators meet their professional
needs and fulfill the educational requirements of the International
Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) certification program. For
more information on the Institute and additional fees, please
visit the IIMC Web site at www.iimc.com. If you do not have Internet
access, call (717) 477-1430 and information will be sent to you.
The PA Local Government Training Partnership Program will do everything possible to hold all scheduled classes. If calling outside of normal business hours, enter extension 166. Course cancellations are updated by 7:00 a.m. on the day of a workshop.
