Each day, a new set of tasks and challenges awaits municipal officials when they walk into their office. Fellow staff, the media, and constituents all place demands on time throughout the day, and learning how to balance your to-do list can become challenging. This workshop has been developed to provide attendees with tools that can be used to make improvements and to effect positive change in their municipality that will result in stronger communities and better service. The instructor will focus on improving basic service delivery to constituents through planning, communication, technology, grantsmanship and proper resource allocation and management. Case studies and best management practices relevant to the functional area for each action item will be explored and actual examples of modern methods for improving operations will be presented. |

The registration fee for this workshop is $95 per person, which includes tuition, materials and breaks. The workshop cost is $120 for those wanting UCC Credits.

Walk-in Registrations
Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Walk-ins are accepted on a space-available basis. Please note there are times when a session is cancelled or rescheduled. Registered attendees will be notified of schedule changes prior to the session. Call (717) 763-0930 or visit www.psats.org prior to the session to verify the correct date, time and location. Substitutions are permitted without notice.
Cancellations
A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $20 processing fee for refunds. Those who cancel within 48 hours of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced.
