Citizen Communication Contest For 41 years, PSATS has been recognizing member townships for their efforts to communicate with residents. Thirty awards in 10 categories are up for grabs, and the winners receive a framed certificate and coverage in the Township News. All entrants also compete for the annual Outstanding Citizen Communication Award, which goes to the township that shows an exceptional commitment to keeping its residents informed. The Association is now accepting entries for the 2008 contest. The deadline for entries is August 31, 2009. Awards will be mailed to the winners in December, and PSATS will also announce those winners in an article in the Township News.
