FHWA Offers Free Road-Related Summits As Part of Every Day Counts Initiative
The Federal Highway Administration is offering three webinars in April covering several topics relevant to townships and other local governments. The webinars are free and will be hosted in each PennDOT District Office and the Central Office. Each topic will be presented by an expert who will be able to answer your questions during the presentation.

APRIL 9: Operations Summit
APRIL 10: Environmental Summit
- Topics: Geospatial Data Collaboration (12:30-2 p.m.) and Implementing Quality Environmental Documents (2-4 p.m.)
APRIL 11: Safety Summit
- Topics: High Friction Surface Treatments (12-30-2 p.m.) and Intersection and Interchange Geometrics (2-4 p.m.)
The FHWA is presenting these summits as part of its Every Day Counts 2 initiative. This initiative is designed to identify and deploy innovation to reduce the time it takes to deliver highway projects, enhance safety, and protect the environment.
