Townships are home to a wealth of critical infrastructure, from utilities to dams and bridges. Planning is key to keeping that infrastructure - and residents - safe from accidents, natural disasters, vandals, and even terrorists.

Off-road vehicles can cause headaches for townships and residents alike. Making riders part of the solution is the first step in keeping the peace.
One thing is certain when natural disasters strike: The recovery will cost money. Fortunately, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency can help townships apply for federal disaster assistance to repair and rebuild.
The Pennsylvania State Animal Response Team is one of only five such groups in the nation working to coordinate animal rescues during natural disasters with other local, state, and federal initiatives.
PSATS has been awarded a contract by the state Department of Transportation to administer LTAP - The Pennsylvania Local Roads Program, ensuring municipal officials will receive the training they need for years to come.
